Kelowna will give you a bright morning and a soaked driveway in the same hour. Anyone who has packed on Lower Mission, in Glenmore, or on a Rutland cul-de-sac already knows the pattern: the truck is not even in the alley yet, and the in-ground irrigation has made its opinion known.

 

Cardboard is a weather bet. It drinks from the bottom. It goes soft at the corners. A stack that looked fine in the garage turns into a tray of wet books by the time you hit Harvey. Tape does not fix that. A garbage bag over the top does not fix a box sitting in a puddle.

 

That is why Bin Ready's totes are waterproof — not as a slogan, as the lid. We rent one size: 102 litres. Black base, yellow lid that snaps shut. You pack clothes, books, kitchen items, linens, small tools, BBQ tools, yard supplies, and pool gear. You close the lid. A squall off the lake, a wet West Kelowna driveway, or a sprinkler overshoot does not turn the load into papier-mâché.

 

We deliver clean, sanitized totes to the door. You pack at your place. The totes stay with you. When you've done the move, you let us know, and we pick up the empty totes. We do not store your household. We do not haul full totes to a warehouse.

 

Week 1 is simple: Start 20 × 102L for $99, Apartment 30 × 102L for $149, Home 40 × 102L for $189, Family 65 × 102L for $249. Delivery and pickup included in Kelowna. A dolly is included with every order. Extra totes at request, $5 per tote per week.

 

September and October are the obvious rain story. July and August are not safer. Heat cooks a sealed cardboard stack on a black driveway; a sudden cell off the lake still finds the bottom flaps. Smoke days are the same rule in reverse: lids on so the linens you just washed do not sit out in it.
